Gospel of Matthew from Alabaster

I’ve seen many individual copies of the gospels over the years, but nothing compares to what Alabaster has created. They have taken the NLT version of Matthew and paired it with beautiful photography and art to make scripture less intimidating and more accessible to all. Alabaster’s Gospel of Matthew is a beautiful intersection of creativity and faith that helps bring scripture to life for everyone who picks up a volume. I highly recommend this volume for new believers or personal study; it is truly beautiful. Sometimes the Bible can be dry for me. I can get bored with my same old routine and be overwhelmed by the scope of Scripture. It’s a big book. Having Matthew accessible and set apart with beauty, as well as plenty of room to scribble notes and add my own art, is appealing. This volume is also beautifully made; it is soft cover with thick paper that is easy to bend back and read which is always important in Bible study, especially if you’re a note taker. So if you’re looking for a way to dive into the Gospel of Matthew for the first time or your hundredth time, Alabaster is a great option. If you are looking for a way to share Matthew with someone for the first time, I recommend Alabaster.
